This post will have a few tips for homemade pizza.
1) Instead of using shortening or cooking spray to grease your pan before putting your pizza crust on it to bake use kosher salt or garlic salt. (Not to much) This will do the same thing but without adding grease to your pizza.
2) Dont have a pizza stone, Don't like soggy crust no problem put you pizza pan on the bottom shelf (not on the rack) on the actual bottom of the oven, directly above the broiler this will crisp up the bottom of your pizza. I do this for approx. 3-5 minutes just before I take the pizza out of the oven. Warning: If you leave it there too long your pizza will burn.
